Background
Among the four Gospels, the Gospel of Mark is the shortest story
about the "beginning of the gospel of Jesus" (Mr 1: 1). Even the name
the author is not mentioned in the book itself (applies to all of the Gospels),

Four main characteristic marking the Gospel of Mark:

(1) The Gospel is full of activities, which emphasizes what Jesus
    than what is taught by Him (Mark lists the 18 miracles
    Jesus and his parables only four);

(2) This Gospel especially to the Romans, and explain the customs
    Jews, negating all the lists of Jewish descent and birth stories,
    Latin term use and translate the words in Aramaic;

(3) The gospel is an urgent tone, begins abruptly and moves with
    quickly from one episode to episode to another, with
    using 42 times adverbs Greek translated
    "immediately".

(4) that it was written by life, as he describes the events
    in the life of Jesus with quick and precise, with clear and
    with the expertise of a poet.
