What does faith mean? what is faith christian
What does the Christian faith mean. Faith is very important
in Christian life. Let's learn what understanding faith is.
Faith is trust. Faith is a gift from God, which is done in
the heart by the Holy Spirit, which brings life and guides all our abilities to
one goal. We must pray to have faith, and so that our faith will grow. Our
faith will also be strengthened by always remembering Christ's promises which
are repeatedly said that our prayers to the Father, in His name, will surely be
answered if we ask for them with faith, and believe when we ask. See Matthew 7:
7; Luke 11: 9; John 14:13, 15, 16; James 4: 2; I John 3:22, 5:14; Luke 11:10.
What is faith christian, what is christian faith education, what is faith in christian life, what is orthodox christian faith, what is my christian faith, a christian faith
Faith is defined as "the substance of things hoped for,
the evidence of things we do not see" (Heb. 11: 1); faith is the work of
the soul with which we feel certain of the existence and truth of something
that is not before us, or not visible. for the human senses. Everyone judges
faith differently, which it will feel difficult even impossible to show it in
visible ways. This is a matter of practicing faith - voluntary practice - which
enables us to increase in believing in the great truths that God is pleased to
declare. Paul states "because our life is life by faith, not by
seeing" (II Cor. 5: 7). Jesus himself said (John 20:29), "Blessed are
those who do not see, but believe".
Thus, while believing what we see and
understand will bring benefits, believing in what is not seen and only
understood vaguely brings greater benefits. There are many things in this
universe that we believe in, without having to fully understand them; we
believe because we get the evidence from others, even though not from our own
five senses. Faith that just believes in what it can see, understand, explain
and show is not faith at all. "No one sees God," but everyone
believes in God. Things in the spiritual world cannot be shown through material
intermediaries, but only through spiritual intermediaries. Using faith will
increase our spirituality, enabling us to understand things that without this
kind of training will not be understood. Paul says for learned Greeks who are
skeptical of the gospel is "ignorance." Pride for intelligence is one
of the biggest obstacles to spiritual growth.
Such is the explanation of the meaning and understanding of
faith.
May be useful.
God bless.
